10 reasons why I love Vancouver winters:

1. Plants are green and moist.
2. No more damn fruit flies or hornets.
3. When the clouds do let up, everyone REALLY appreciates the sun.
4. I hardly ever have to dust.
5. The white noise that cars driving on wet streets make is comforting.
6. The homeless people begging for change and/or cigarettes stay inside.
7. There are NO arrogant and noisy Harley Davidson riders on the streets.
8. When I walk in the rain, my hair gets wet and drips on my face.
9. I get to cheer people up by pointing out the natural benefits of rainfall.
10. When it does snow, almost all the traffic dies (including Hummers and other off-road vehicles - it's so funny to see!!).
